I learned about Payday back in 2012 thanks to a friend and since then I have been hooked! My best memory about Payday 2 is that back in 2015 I met my best friend in a game of Election Day, we got to finally meet face to face last year!

Payday 2 has been such a great game. COngrats on the 10 years. Favorite memory was playing with my friend going through Career Mode honestly/

From my first day in PAYDAY The Heist to the final days of PAYDAY 2, the PAYDAY franchise has always been close to my heart.

I consider myself blessed to make the friends I have a long the way bother heisters and developers and I hope to make more as we progress to the 3rd installment.

My favorite PAYDAY moment was back when the Big Bank was being showcased at E3. My friends and I were denied entry as we didn't have passes, as we sat outside pondering how to get in, there we saw two gentlemen with the Overkill bomb on their blazer jackets. It was Ilija and his brother! After an energetic exchange they found out what had happened and snuck us into E3 to enjoy the new map and meet the Overkill crew.

They had given us special access to the booth and we enjoyed the whole experience in its entirety.

I started heisting around the time we met the Dentist. Some friends of friends had been playing and it looked like a blast; I couldn't have imagined what it would become! Now my crew are my family, and PAYDAY will always be part of what we made together.

I remember when for april fools one year, this bouncy explosives got activated. I have a friend Who used to main Golden AK and RPG and Went crazy during days because of this until we told him. That moments with him and the rest of the Crew (we met in-game 8 years ago and still play) where Amazing. This and million more. I hope to get new memories with this people on the new one too. They are basically family to me now. I am 26 years old now (the youngest in the group) and they have been with me during all kinds of moments and even got some tears when I moved continents. Thanks for letting me have this awesome interactions with people I would definitelly not know now.

man, payday was the first game in my steam library that wasn´t free to play, i spent hours and hours playing it and nevet got bored, i have met incredible people and friends, gotta be my favorite game right now, 10 years... thanks for being with me for the mayority part of my life! and as Bain said one "Lets do this" !!!!

my greatest memory for sure has to be the secret and everything revolving around it, solving the achievements made me grow close to a few friends, unlocking the trophies to start the secret made me improve (and started my obsession with trohpies). and the final vault at the white house has to be one of the most rewarding things you could ever do in payday besides maybe overdrill.

Got into Payday 2 because of a friend. And instantly fell in love with the game. The humor, Gun and build variety, the awesome music that kicks in when things go wrong and you have to start going guns blazing. It's something no other game has been able to recreate for me. Truly a one of a kind game this. I'm super excited for Payday 3.

My favourite memory has to be the time where me and my friend bought the completly overkill pack. We LOVE the game and hoped this would help bring some new great content to the game. I was so excited to get my mask and weapon skin

Tho I haven’t played payday for long I still remember some good times with my friends. I remember the day I played it it was before school and it was early in the morning it was fun even tho I had zero idea what I was doing but I had a good time. So thank you for making a good game and I can’t wait for payday3.

Even though I joined the Payday 2 community way later than some people here (4.6.2020). Im glad I did, along with my friends we had a great time playing throughout every heist in the career mode, from trying to kill Buluc to trying to complete every heist solo on DSOD while I was in a hospital. I couldn't have been happier for those memories. It's really weird that I have been with this game for 3 years and yet I have so much good memories with it.

My favorite memory in PAYDAY was learning how to do the H&T Bank from my older brother while I was a kid.

Truly one of the few games I always come back too, whether to heist for hours or just to remember the good old times, back in 2015 me and my buddy used to go on a trip to branson every year. Wed bring our laptops and use the really crappy wifi to do stealth missions together racking up the paydays! Thank you guys for making such an amazing game, and cant wait to see what you all cooked up for us with payday 3!

I think i first heard about PAYDAY 2 in 2018, but i haven't heard about it so much.
But then, in 2020 i bought it on sale basically because almost my entire friends list had PAYDAY 2. Then, in 2021 i downloaded it because my friend recommended to play it with him. That was a blast, we did like 10 heists on Death Sentence and i really liked it.
And when 2022 hit the calendars, i became a true PAYDAY fan.
Even though i'm rather new here, thank you for everything, heisters and fellow developers at Starbreeze.

Finishing the White House heist when it first came out in 2018 to finish up the original storyline, and then finally coming back to it two years later to finish the secret with the help of a friend I met through PAYDAY

I remember feeling sad when the PAYDAY 2 beta was coming to an end and I posted about it on the discussion forums and somebody gifted me the game out of nowhere. I didn't know who he was nor their name but I'm forever grateful for that user because I've been heisting since launch with around 7000 hours across a 10 year timespan, pretty much growing up with the game throughout the years from the end of 8th grade all the way to the end of college. I'm excited for what PAYDAY 3 will bring.

I remember during the peak of the pandemic when oone of my friends told me to buy PD2, so I bought the game and the next couple of years were filled with joy, meta builds and some funny bugs. Most notably I remember trying to do Scarface od DSOD where we shat ourselves everytime there was a dozer since we were all dodge and didn't have someone with a rocket launcher.

I remember preordering the Career Criminal Edition and being excited for the game after PDTH, talking about it with my buddies at school. Doing it all over again but this time at a comfortable office job.
2014 was probably the best year for the game and the community. I hope we get more 2014s in the future.

When I finally outran a clocker, I jumped did a quick 180 and used my Judge to put him in his place. I felt I could do anything.

I remember I used to go all the way around the right side of Diamond Store to get to the camera room.
My very first heist was Art Gallery and almost every time I go infamous and go back to Level 0, I do Art Gallery on Normal in memory of that.

Joined the gang back on PS3 with the Payday the Heist demo. Later bought the full game on PC (and found out that First World Bank didn't actually end after grabbing money in the vault???). I was later told that they were making a sequel, got given a beta invite by a friend, which led to me preordering the game an hour before it launched. It has since remained installed on each of my machines for the next 10 years, and still is installed to this very day. ♥

I met this cool guy called "Roger" in the first month of playing Payday 2 on PC. We were just two randoms playing heat street. We started looking for the tortoise together and it became a whole thing! We've been good friends ever since that day, after six whole years...

When Car Shop first came out and I played the heist for the first time, after grabbing the car keys, I thought the cars would become escape points, and the heist would just end there. Then, I got the prompt to unlock and enter the car. I remember my first reaction after getting inside was, "WHAT YOU CAN DRIVE NOW IN THIS GAME???" Thank you for the thousands of hours of fun in Payday 2, and I'm hugely looking forward to Payday 3! Here's to hoping we get to run over bulldozers, so we can watch their silly ragdolls zoom across the floor sometime eventually in Payday 3 lol

Got it on sale during the spring break event in 2015. Spent many long nights making friends with randoms on Shadow Raid. Loved every moment playing this game and loved participating in the secret during 2018.

I remember coming back from school and playing this game every day with the very same gang I played with during Payday: The Heist. My laptop could barely handle the game at the time! But I still had a blast.

My favorite memorty is when i finally completed every heist on DSOD... 2 weeks ago

Just getting on my PS4 after school and playing PD2 with my friends was always aweasome.

I remember how cocky my partner was when it came to fighting the Bulldozers. They would get excited about every opportunity to get one of them... until the first day of Hoxton's Heartswarming, that is.
Not being able to stun Dozer, coupled with their ability to run, made my partner panic everytime they spot that hulking mass rushing their way! Complete switch from predator mentality to prey mentality was jarring to watch at the time!)
P.S. They are much more confident nowadays.

It's crazy to think that it's already been ten years. I remember getting into the game around the time we broke Hoxton out. It's even crazier to think that I was among the first 100 to complete the Payday 2 Secret with my friends KebabScout, Fily and Beat.

This game consumed a lot of my time, and with mods, it consumed even more. Truly one of my personal favorite games of all time. Please keep this game alive even if it stops getting support ;-;

Got into PAYDAY way back when a friend gifted me PD:TH just after the Wolf Pack release, ended up with me grabbing the Career Criminal edition of 2 and playing the beta (I remember the day Nightclub was added, still my favourite heist :D )

Playing Payday 2 with my friends on the ps3 for a few weeks and then we all bought new pcs at the same time during christmas 2014.
It has been a long time since then and many hours of fun been had with Payday 2

Been a payday veteran since the launch of Payday 2, love every minute of it, and played it with many friends over the years, still one of my go to games to stream to this day, thank you for making great gaming memories for me Overkill. Also shout out to Dragan, gotta be the best heister to be added, UNLEASH THE DRAGAN

I've made some great memories and friends along the way because of this awesome franchise. Something about this game was really special to us because we still keep in touch, despite some of them not even playing the game anymore. I'm sure that will change very soon however because ALL of them are very excited about Payday 3. My brother got this game for us when it first came out ten years ago. I vividly remembered when he left me for dead to secure extra bags of gold. Looking back, I would’ve done the same thing.

I haven't played payday 2 as much as everyone else as of now I only have 272 hours in payday 2 but my payday memory is finding an amazing community of really nice people alongside amazing developers who are passionate about there game and I've even met some of my best friends on payday 2 I'm looking forward for 3 happy anniversary payday 2

10 years. 10 years of robbing everything that ain't bolted down, and even then, that too. I remember playing the original PDTH, made friends, which I then played PD2 with, for ages. We eventually drifted apart, new friendships were made, and throughout, Payday 2 was there! From the highs, to the lows, it's one of the games that I returned to more than any other. I'm excited to see what the future with Payday 3 holds!

Crazy to think that PAYDAY 2 is 10 years old today. I started out as a fan 10 years ago, then I got hired by Starbreeze 5 years ago. And in just about one month we will be launching our next game in the franchise! ✨

I remember watching payday 2 on YouTube since 2014 because I couldn't afford it, on 2015 by surprise my dad came out of nowhere with the ps3 version of the game, I was crawling on the roof out of the emotion and since then I played payday 2 until now

This game has gotten ups and downs through its history but the community is what truly made Payday 2 what is now with its 10 years.

I’ll never forget believing in John Wick at a time when only payday fans were aware of him, which he was hated by at the time. The film proved me right and I’ll always associate the two franchises.

I was still pretty new to the game, playing the Street Escape at night (for what heist I can't remember) with a newly maxed out Sociopath deck, not even knowing about skills, trying to use as few bullets as possible. In between assault waves me and a crew of randos were moving the bags to the escape vehicle when a cloaker randomly spawned in a dark alleyway, lit by a single light post, crawling out of a sewer grate. I completely forgot I was on Mayhem and ran up to him, killed him with a couple blows from the MotherForker, with Jacket saying "I really enjoyed that" as I left the alleyway and went on my way. It was the perfect movie moment, and it'll always stick in my mind as one of my favorite kills I've ever gotten in Payday 2.

I got this game in a steam summer sale for free, back when I was 11 on my office computer. I only played mall crasher, but I enjoyed it so much that I went to my grandma's and begged her to buy me the gold addition for my Xbox, which could run it. I got it, and it escalated to where i got barred from playing it due to me sitting in my room for hours replaying heists like golden grin casino endlessly.

Thank you for all the good memories - the developers, the modders and the players have given to me and many others over the years.

My friend introduced me to this game to play as a joke, after I recognized the gameplay it was the game I was wanting to remember when I played on the xbox 360, Payday 2, after that I played until I said enough and made people that I probably won't forget early. so thank you Overkill for creating this gem.

PAYDAY: The Heist was one of the first non-f2p games I played and got instantly hooked to the heisting genre.

When I've heard they were releasing PAYDAY 2 in the summer of 2013 I just immediately had to pre-order it after a long day of high school.

So many friendships being built and genuine moments me and all my friends have experienced over these 10 beautiful years of PAYDAY 2's life. We've seen eachother, the game and the community grow alltogether in these beautiful moments.

After modding the game for over half a decade I've really grown to love the engine it's built on. I think it gets a bad wrap, and I'm sad to see it go, but sometimes we have to move forward. Considering how well it's lasted, we should all raise a glass to 22 years of Diesel!

My friend bought me PD2 during christmas 2021. Since then played nearly 900 hours and got infamy lvl 50. One of our first heists i can remember was failing the jewerly store on overkill for 30 mins :3

Payday 2 was one of my first pc games, and it was (and it is) absolutely wonderful. I still remember all those helmets flying, and the epic heists with our beloved gang. Probably one of the best gaming experience you can have. I'm ready for Payday 3 and don't forget ; Let's do this.

When me & my friend Demeschik finally finished Framing Frame in stealth back in 2013 without any guides (since those didn't really exist anyway). Simple nowadays but very satisfying back then.

I met my girlfriend through this game, I was hosting a heat street on Mayhem and she joined and we ended up talking a lot after. Pretty cool game if you ask me :)

I remember getting the game as a gift early around 2013-14 from a close friend hopping into the game with a laggy mouse doing a bank heist, so inexperienced so wide eyed just enjoying playing a new game with my friends. I always hopped on the game when they did, acting as the bag boy in stealth as I was bad at it. As I got better and the friend group started to not play anymore, it was just me as Wolf and my friend who got me the game as Bonnie. I miss playing payday with him.

favorite memory was actually a very recent one, me and the team worked hard to get 'beneath the mountain' done (at least opening the 4 vaults) in under ten minutes. whole call was shouting when we clutched it with <10 seconds remaining

I remember when I was young I got PD:TH not knowing how many hours I will pump into this franchise. When PAYDAY 2 released, I was begging my dad to get the game for me. Now I am 20 years old, still playing the same game I begged my dad to get for me when I was 10.

PAYDAY 2 is also the reason why I am really interested into Game Development, and I am currently working on eventually becoming a Game Dev myself.

I started playing PD2 in the beta and haven't stopped. But the best part of the game for me is the crew of close friends I've gained through it. We all still talk almost daily and have been for most of the past decade with full intentions of continuing with Payday 3

I remember my brother gifting me PAYDAY: THE HEIST, since them payday has been a small part of my life. Same thing happened with Payday 2, with my brother gifting it to me and I playing it every day and having fun.
Now with the close release of payday 3, a new chapter of this continues and what a surprise when my bro again gave it to me, it's like tradition at this point. Thank you brother and thank you Payday for hours of fun.

I got Payday 2 in 2021, but I started playing it a lot in september of 2022.
In 2023 I descovered that there was a secret ending, and in july I completed the secret ending of Payday 2.

My greatest memory is when I played Shadow Raid with ALTeRYX007! Although im fairly new to the game I still had a lot of fun and made countless memories that I will remember forever! Thank you PayDay, Thank you Starbreeze!

My first experience with Payday 2 was in 2014, I was excited because I had money and could afford a game for my PS3, and there it was, PAYDAY 2. Robbing banks and doing it with friends seemed like a great idea. From that moment this game has become one of my favorites, and thanks to it I've got a very nice community both on Twitch and Youtube which I appreciate very much.

I made a friend on big oil and after years of playing payday2 we met in real life many times.
We are roughly 200 kilometers apart.

I remember playing the game for the first time, playing a heist and being amazed at all the things I could do.

I remember my first time doing Overdrill with an open lobby online. The feeling of having to survive the assault while everybody was in custody and completing the heist while only ever going down twice was a clutch and a rush I will never forget!

Because of the PAYDAY, I'm working in gamedev and make music for custom heists. So thanks to the PAYDAY team and everyone who I've interacted with in my payday journey. I wish you the best!

DSODing Shadow Raid with my friend with all but like 3 loot bags. We worked for roughly an hour to get there and I'm proud we did.

I remember cooking meth with the boys in the middle of a school night, those were some of my best memories with the game. This game has always been one of my favourites, and seeing the community grow is very satisfying, especially when it's with a community that you love. From the memes, to the lore, thank you payday

I think my favourite memories of Payday 2 has to be all the times where I've played with my girlfriend. Just seeing her slowly get better as we play has been such an amazing expirience. Though getting a follow from both Payday twitter man and Almir on twitter is also cool

I got the game in 2021 so i didn't have much time with it. Even tho its been only 2-3 years for me, its was a blast. This is one of the best games i played in my life, thank you OVERKILL

When the game first came out and Pro Jobs used to be a thing, I remember planning out Framing Frames stealth with a random group, going over the plan on who's doing what like the cameras or whos going inside to get the paintings and after 15 minutes of planning, one of my teammates get immediately detected and it goes loud.

Payday 2 is the first game I played on my PC back in 2018. Since then I have had so many fond memories with me and my friends trying to rob a hospital with flamethrowers, to us trying to draw that cool S in preplanning.

I've bought Payday becouse i watched youtube about and i thought this game is cool, and is was cool. i am playing this game for over 2 years it is always the same as i remember

I remember playing Jewelery Store on the Xbox 360 version with a friend when the 360 and PS3 were the only console versions. It wasn't until the summer of 2021 where I really got into the game. I still remember going through Undercover with some friends and being nervous about not messing up. Now I look back at my other achievements like completing OVERDRILL and The Secret solo or mastering Murky Station or the hours I put in on Cook Off alone for Infamy grinding.

Sometime in mid 2014 I picked up the game and was practicing stealth on Shadow Raid with a friend, he was teaching me the ropes. We were super serious, cautious and planning how we're going to do things. Then, while sneaking around the containers, a guard began to walk straight up into the sky. He probably got to around twice the height of the warehouse. We were in tears and laughed for a solid 5 minutes. Probably one of the best gaming memories for me.

Started payday 2 back in 2014.
Hotline Miami and big bank got me hooked to this game. Now after so many years, I was approved as a Japanese translator for the game, leading a big door towards my secondary career.
I work as a game translator/gamer article writer, all because payday2 has gave me a new path.

And even now, I love this game and all the developers who are working with this game.

Now my dream is to continue the hunt for the secret in payday3, and spreading the heisting wave in Japan through the Starbreeze partner program.

The next 10 years of PAYDAY3!

Payday 2 is a videogame of all time. There are many things I can say about it. It's my favourite game ever. I had a lot of memories playing it. My core memory was when I booted up the game and played it with my friends.

I fell in love with this game around 2020, I saw my friend play it around 2016 but I wasn't able to play it back then. Immediately when I bought the game, I couldn't stop playing! Payday will always have a special place in my heart, and I cant wait for Payday 3!!

Beating the secret will forever be one of the most epic moments ever

Played the game in 2016-2018 but didn't really get into until 2020-2021 with one of my friends who lived in a whole other country then me and we went for alot of the death sentence one down heists we even got the secret ending for the game with one random guy who was a lot of help to us

I remember all the way back in 2013 I was on my school bus heading to school when in between songs, the two radio hosts began talking about their disgust for this little bank robbing game that was about to release called PAYDAY 2. To be honest, they sold me on the game. Ten years and a thousand hours of playtime later, all I gotta say is thanks for the recommendation Mr. and Mrs. radio hosts.

Whilst I haven't been playing for a very long time, I'll always remember properly prepping a squad, hopping into VR myself and absolutely destroying the First World Bank, working together to survive through OVERDRILL for a solid hour and a half!
I stood at the entrance to the vault-area with a long-barrelled Vulcan Minigun, shredding anything that was in my line of sight whilst the team grabbed, bagged and threw the gold down the vents. Time flew by, and we loved every minute of it.

Though it isn't the coolest experience in the world, it was one of the many in PAYDAY 2 that brought me and my friends closer, and even more so as the future calls us to 3.

The year is 2018, the year where i joined steam and the same year that i joined payday2. it was a memorable year for me because it was a new beginning and after five years,here we are.

I played it first time in 2015 and it changed my life, the game fulfill all my fantasies of doing the ultimate heist and being a notorious criminal badass from watching a lot of crime and heist movies like Heat, PAYDAY will always have a special place in my heart, there's no other franchise that I love more than PAYDAY

I remember that struggle when I tried stealthing Election Day. I failed for 3 hours straight, and I told myself I would never play stealth again. Now I completed every stealthable heist on DSOD. God I love this game.

Just think, 10 years have already passed, but how quickly. Playing since 2014, I have found many wonderful people thanks to this game. And it can also be fun to spend an evening in the company of friends and chatting over a game. It was especially fun when new contracts were released.

I remember the release of "The Bomb Heists" - DLC pack. On release, me and my buddy had multiple attempts stealthing "Bomb - Dockyard" on the highest difficulty (was Death Wish back then) until we finally finished it without leaving a trace. What an exciting moment.

Man, It's super fun sending Almir himself to custody with a rocket launcher. You won't find that kind of interaction with a developer in another game.

I remember when I played Payday 2 with some friends and we used to get many achievements and complete the different jobs in the game I wish I could go back in time and be with them again with the band

First started playing Payday in 2017 when they gave away 5 million copies for free. Loved it so much that i played this game with 13fps for 600 hours on my old pc now i have almost 900 hours. Looking back the friends i made just because of payday are one of the best friendships i ever had, for a game thats about shooting cops the community are the sweetest. Looking forward to pd3 hope we get to see its 10th year too

This one was recent. Loud rats day 2, I fall off one of the bridges between the buildings and get downed in the air, putting me into my last down. One of my friends inspires me back up before I hit the ground, and the fall damage instantly puts me into custody. Everyone playing, including me, couldn't stop laughing. This game is so silly sometimes.

PAYDAY 2 has meant so much to me since I started playing in November 2013. Most of my friends list consists of wonderful people I've met in public lobbies, and I still talk to many of them today. I especially remember Crimefest 2014, refreshing the website every few minutes, waiting for the next content reveal and content drop, and dropping in with a group to see what's new. PAYDAY 3 has been my most anticipated game since it was first announced and I'm so excited to create many new memories and meet many new heisters along the way!

I was first introduced to this game in 2021, a friend of mine suggested it to me and whilst I normally don’t like the games he requests, I decided to give this game a try. Now I have over a thousand hours and have completed every single achievement. I’ve met a lot of friends playing this game and I’m extremely glad I decided to listen my friend’s recommendation. Funnily enough he ended up getting bored of the game and now I have more hours and achievements in the game than he does. Thanks for all the memories and I hope Payday 3 can be just as good, if not better.

I remember back when I lost my mind at Shadow Raid at the Hardest difficulty.
Also spending hours crafting builds for Infamy before 3.0 came out. Lots of procrastinating.

If you had told me 9 years ago, that'd I'd be sinking nearly 2,000 hours into Payday 2, buying every heist packs, and playing in VR, I would've been like "Who are you?"

My favorite memory was doing OVERDRILL for the first time. There was a crash halfway through so I didn't get the achievement but once I rejoined moving all 70 bags of gold was a breeze.

I met my best friend on Payday 2 just a few months after release. We've played all sorts of games together since then, but we always come back to pull one more score.

First it was seeing some random videos on my YouTube homepage about the game, then the trailer, then playing it myself years later, to the 10 anniversary -
It's been a ride. It's been an honor.

My friends finally got all the achievements to do the secret ending, and to celebrate, made the most disgusting Dallas masks to finish the game in. They all looked so dumb. I had the time of my life.

Was playing a solo DW run of no mercy. Got the patient on the last door opened, cracked vials, 750+ kills and 45+ minutes later, I got the achievement.

Some time later I bought Payday 2 and it was the most fun and unforgettable memory I have ever played cooperative games with friends. Years passed and I constantly returned to this game, bringing more and more friends, we quarreled, put up, made plans for life and robberies :)
This game holds a special place in my heart. Now I have upgraded my computer, pre-ordered Payday 3 and am looking forward to the release of this game. I am sure that the game will be able to leave more good memories.

The Alesso heist stealth in a pub game. We had failed multiple times until we gave in and exchanged discords. We're still some of the closest online brothers ive had.

I feel my favourite memory of the game is attempting overdrill when I celebrated achieving infamy 1. The gold was holy yet dallas yelling Ahhhhhh!! I NEED A MEDIC BAG!!!! Still echo in my ears to this day. Oh wait… That was ME?!?!?

The first time i was playing death wish difficulty with my friends, we were playing Slaughterhouse. It was going easy, we opened the vault easily and proceeded to carrying the bags. Then my friend said "Hey, are those two dozers carrying miniguns?", In the next ten seconds everyone got downed and groupchat was a total chaos. Everyone one was blaming each other. Thank you Starbreeze and Overkill for separating my friend group for over 3 months <3

My favourite memories must either be making friends with fellow heisters and talking to them to this day, or failing DSOD right next to the escape van.

Wow... 10 whole YEARS of Payday 2. That... I would never have imagined that I would be able to see a game like this grow so big (I mean that in how big the community is and by how much storage this game takes like holy shit 85+ Gigabytes my god). Although I don't play this game that much nowadays my friend Clover plays it a lot! She bought it in early 2020 and loves it to bits! I will say that my earliest memory of this game was... ah, I forget the year but one of my old friends introduced me to this game all the way back on the Xbox 360 and wow I just... I don't know what to say without repeating myself but man... It's been a long journey.

Back when i was just a 100 hour fella i was doing the white house on very hard with my friend. me and him couldnt do it. but its the fact we kept trying and we still enjoyed it. gotta be some of the most fun ive had on payday 2

After 1500+ hours, I can say with certainty my best (and recurring) memory of Payday 2 is using the wrong meth ingredient.

I started playing the game when i was able to download it for free on steam, i remember having so much fun back then until i lost my account. Didn't care much about it because i've been able to actually buy the game and most of the DLCs. Payday is honestly one of my favorite games of all time and i'm glad of where everything is today. I wish everyone happy heisting and remember to keep those helmets flying!!

Back in 2013, me and my friends had no money to buy games, so after school all we would do is play the Payday 2 demo on xbox 360 together over and over again, doing the same heist over and over for hours every day. Good times :D

Every single public stealth heist I took part on was a mix of annoyance and laughs. I will never forget it.

I met my best friend through Payday 2, and the fact that the series has somehow lasted an entire decade through a history of ups and downs is nigh miraculous.

Over one-thousand and seven-hundred hours of heisting and achievement hunting later, and it has remained a mainstay in my gaming library as the best way to experiencing blasting away cops and vault doors with friends!

I bought the game in 2016, after looking for new FPS games to play, and I fell in love with the gun customisation, the heists, etc. even though I wasn't good at the game.

Eventually, my friends' decision to stop playing the game in 2021 caused me to lose interest for a while,
until one day in 2022 my aunt asked me to teach her how to play, and since that day I've put almost 800 hours into the game.

I can't believe a game I bought almost 7 years ago got this far, and I can't wait to play Payday 3 :) <3

I remember my first ever attempts at loud heists, being carried by higher level players, barely scraping enough cash to buy a minigun. And now I've done the secret end and got a full collection of every weapon noob me ever wanted.

Doing 25 bags over and over again in cook off even if it took more than an hour it was always fun to share this time with randoms and cracking some jokes in the chat

The best memories from this game is from heisting with my brother and finding new cool guns.

It took me 5 hours to stealth Framing Frame day 3 on DSOD and it took me 4 months with a break in between to beat White House DSOD. I also remember trying to unlock the Bushido trophy and after failing so many times the one time I completed it, I forgot I had a modifier on and it didn't count the achievement. Still the game is fun and I love it,

Started Payday 2 in 2018, I will never forget when my friend didn't tell me about the parachutes in birth of sky, kinda odd thinking that was a half decade ago

I started playing in 2014 and I played the game religiously until Crimefest 2015. I did come back eventually and despite everything that has happened, good and bad, Payday 2 holds a very special place in my heart - 2600 hours over 9 years, 1325 of 1328 achievements, and 8 years (on and off) working on a mod.

Payday 2 might have its problems and had a rocky road, but it's undoubtedly a very special game that I will never forget my time playing and I don't regret a second of it.

I remember when the Secret Ending came out, and I went on to solve it with a friend. Back then, we both only had shitty computers, both of us running an intel laptop with iGPU. We both ran the game on 5~15FPS. Our PC ran The Whitehouse Heist around 5~8FPS and it was a bloody nightmare. The Watchers came at us and my friend held 'em off while I did all the work on the Vault. Our game crashed midway into the heist at least twice or thrice, but finally and thankfully, we finished it. It was such a mindblowing experience, man. I honestly shat myself when I found out that PAYDAY was going in a mythos direction, but it was one helluva ride.

I've had problems in my adolescence and thanks to PAYDAY 2... I found a place that is welcoming and well received. Also PAYDAY 2 made me something known on the internet and I really... I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!

i was recording my girlfriend play payday2 for the first time and her first heist was on carshop and i had her go up the stairs on mayhem difficulty and she didnt know any better and thought it was all her fault she got caught, we still laugh about it to this day 3 years later

My first ever heist being money branch heist I spend an hour lockpicking since I thought it was an achievement after seeing the game had over a 1000 achievements

I remember how, i play payday 2 on xbox one,Then in 2020 year i buy Payday 2 on PC and buy Gage Russian Weapon Pack, and i thought that Gage is a Bodhi and i thought that Bodhi is russian.I play payday 2 few hours, then in 2023 year my friend told: who play with me payday 2? And then i started playing payday 2 many hours. Now i have Infamy III and more dlc. And i want to say for payday 2, Happy Birthday with 10 years old.

Doing Alesso heist no killing people achievement while going loud since the start, truly a wonderful experience (and I got the achievement as well!)

Doing The first world bank on death wish back in early 2016 over and over again never succeeding.

I remember being gifted this game back in 2016 and only sinking 40 minutes in to it. But one day in August of 2020 I wanted find a new game to become my main game and realised I had PAYDAY 2 sitting in my Steam Library and from there, the rest is history.

The community on the game, steam and discord has been a large part of my life and it's been a wild ride with ups and downs. I honestly have no idea where I'd be without it. You guys totally changed my entire life, thanks for being cool!

I remember having discovered payday2 on a demo of PS3 then after I bought it and I never left it I made the PS3/PS4/PS5 versions.. Time flies so fast

This isn’t much of a payday 2 memory but more of how I got introduced to the franchise. Around Christmas 2012, my mother went to our local GameStop and asked the cashier a good first person shooter game that would be a good Christmas gift and the employee recommended Payday: The Heist. That employee is the real one and he put me on to the best video game of all time and I’m forever grateful to have been here for even longer than this anniversary! Payday 3 here we come with more memories to be had!

My brother was going through some tough times and the only way I could really spend time with him was when he got home and played on his Xbox 360. One day he booted up Payday the Heist and I was hooked! We took turns per heist, hours were lost, love this game but more importantly I got to spend lots of time heisting with my bro, which we still do years later with Payday 2 and soon Payday 3. Thanks Almir and all the developers for so many fun memories.

I remember playing the demo non stop for payday 2 on the ps3.
I finally ended up purchasing the game on PC during 2015 together with The Gage Ninja pack.
Then i did my first ever stealth heist to get that sweet ninja mask!

Got my copy in 2017 when 5 million were being given away for free. Little me, who was struggling to save up money, was shocked at the very idea of getting a game I'd dreamed of buying FOR FREE. Nearly a thousand hours were lost to this game afterwards.

3 Friends, Green Bridge, All Cloakers, everybody's downed within 30 seconds. That just shows the chaotic energy of Payday 2.

Back on the early 360 days, I once led a 4 man crew of strangers to completely clean out the Harvest & Trustee Bank using nothing but flashlight clicks and the crappy 360 messaging system. I'm still incredibly proud of that.

I remember picking up the game on release day for my Xbox 360. Then a long week of playing and convincing my friends to buy it too!

I remember spending 2 hours in deathwish Cook Off, securing a lot of bags. I don't know if it was really the best decision reflecting on it, but it was fun nonetheless!

Now here’s what I got to say about the game, so as I’ve stated back in 2013 I got this game for the Xbox 360 not really understanding what I was buying at the time and let tell you the first time I played I didn’t really pay attention to the music at first but then after certain songs appeared during the heist tracks such as “Razormind” or “Wanted Dead or Alive” I knew immediately as a young witchlet that I would adore this games soundtrack for days to come, another thing is that this game had actually a great memory during my transition, in like 2014 of December I was gifted by a good friend of mine the Clover DLC which I believe was the first female heister in the game and it meant a lot to me since it felt like validation in a way and it made me so happy. The last thing I wanted to share was that (I recently found out that I have autism) this game actually kind of helps with my urge to keep doing something and my sensitive senses in a way. For example I always press the F key which is just shouting at cops even when I don’t have too and just the bouncing music in the headphones and plus just always there being something to do Ingame. But yeah this game means allot to me and it’s been a great 10 years of PAYDAY 2!

I remember when I first played the game like 8 years ago on Xbox 360 and it being amazing and I loved it but also being buggy and not having a lot to do right away and stealth being confusing and hard af. But over the years, they have done a lot of stuff, and i'm so happy that payday is my favorite game ever and starbreeze is the best developer company outthere, they love the community and always listen to em. I first found the PAYDAY franchise in early 2018, and began playing the sequel shortly before the Breaking News event happened.

In 2019, I grinded the game non-stop, meeting new friends and joining communities along the way. However, I eventually started getting bored since no new content was being released.

While I was about to quit the game in 2020, Infamy 3.0 was the update that brought me back into the game and made me meet the awesome ECM rushing community, which I'm still part of.

In summer of 2022, I learnt how to make mods and custom maps for the game, an aspect of the game that's kept me going since.

Started on the 360 in 2014 and moved to PC early 2015. Played consistently till 2018 and came back a month ago in prep for 3!

While I journeyed to complete all of the achievements and challenges, the best ones were when I needed a team of heisters who would be able to help me get some of them. Above all the story was my favorite, events with hidden puzzles or speculations.

I cant imagine my life without Payday, the friends i made, the hours i spent playing with my dad and friends, i cant forget the time me and my dad were having a mental breakdown over Lab Rats

I first played Payday 2 around the time it came out on the xbox360 back in good ol' 2013, I liked it but I pretty much forgot about it until 2016 when my brother bought me the game on steam, and ever since then, I've been hooked. And while I have had my ups and downs (holy shit never do that alien mayan bullshit again...) with this game and the community, I'll always remember that its thanks to Payday that I've met a lot of my online friends.

I still remember booting up my Xbox360 with my first copy of PAYDAY 2, Seeing the laundry safehouse, going jewelry store heist and thinking that this was the best game I've played in years. 2023 is here and not only EVERYTHING has been improved but I still think that PAYDAY 2 has been the most pleasant and entertaining experience I've had in all my videogame history.

During the launch of payday 2 I was sad to see no Cloaker back then I didn’t have access to the internet so I didn’t know when updates were coming out and one day on four stores I’m in the China store and next minute I hear the iconic sound we are used to now I looked behind me and there he was sprinting full force at me I would say I was amazed and happy to see him back but to be honest I was scared out of my mind and scream and what made it better is the line he said was “you wanted me back I’m back” this moment has stayed with me for many years

Spending 8 hours trying to stealth the dragon heist on the highest difficulty, i failed but i still had fun

This game gave me so many happy moments,but my favourite one was when i beated my first heist in deathwish,i felt so proud,the epic music,the shooting and the danger,also jacket voice Made it 100 times better

I had my first contact with Payday 2 in 2015 or so, the old Safecracker Edition for the Playstation 3. I spent so much time on those old heists, I still vividly remember getting the right engine first try on Big Oil by piecing out the info around the map, that's when I knew it was love at first sight. I've played for many more years on PS4 and continue to leave my trail on PC to this day. And it never once got old.

I remember this one time I was doing Overdrill with a crew and volunteered to do the floor tile code once the vault opened. Unfortunately despite following the diagram in the guide I pressed the wrong tile and failed the attempt...
And the second attempt...
So the third time we had someone else do it, and finally succeeded. Pretty funny story but to this day I refuse to do the tile puzzle if it can be helped...

I grew up with payday 2, reaching 1000 hours on console. 2 years ago I changed over to PC, payday was the first thing I downloaded! Within the 1100 hours I have on steam today, I reached the ultimate achievement of the DSOD mask. Little me would've been so proud. :')

Got the game when Hoxton Breakout came out. Since he was my favourite in the first game so i knew i had to get the game absolutely then. Now i have 1900+ hours sinked in.

Payday 2 was a big game with me and my friends since launch. Never will be able to forget set pieces like Big Bank and The White House!

Payday 2 had just come out, console was still getting updates. Cloakers were just brought back from payday 1, and still weren't working right. A Cloaker misses their kick that was aimed at me, then seemingly not knowing what to do from there it just staring beating down nothing.

I like trolling my friends by throwing the drill out of a third-floor window in Hotline Miami day 2. I discovered that I could do so back in 2015 and it's still just as hysterical as the first time.

My first memory of payday was when the border crossing heist released i remember playing it and listening to dirt and dust and that was the moment i feel in love with payday!

Payday 2 was one of the first games i ever played on PC. I still remember my first Heist i played during a free Weekend and grinding through the demo until i bought the full game.

I've always loved that game since the release. However, i started playing back in 2016 when the Scarface DLC was released. I was a HUGE FAN of the movie. And thanks to OVERKILL. Thank you guys for this game to be so awesome after so 10 years! Love y'all!

I remember exactly when I started: December 3rd, 2013. Two days before Gage Weapon Pack #1 released. Played the demo version of the game late November. The game was tough as nails, when leveling was slow and the money economy in shambles. But it was great.

I practically grew up alongside this game, through my teenage years to adulthood. I've seen the highs and lows. The very deep lows. But I never gave up on the game. It was truly something special.

And now... 10 years later? It's still great and special, but just more... spongy. And an actual slaughterhouse. It's comical.

I wish to go back in time, when it was more simple. And less convoluted. But the passage of time cannot be stopped. Or reversed.

Thank you, Overkill Starbreeze. It's been a bumpy road, but a damn fine road it is. Hopefully it will be less so for the future. Don't mess it up, would ya?

I've played Payday 2 since 2016 and i loved it. Met some friends playing it and my wallet hated every new dlc. Had to buy, there was no choice. I did 100% in it and i loved most of it. Grinding for robbedacop was a nightmare. The game one of the kind!

I started Payday 2 with the beta back in July 2013. Bought the game on launch and couldn't put it down. I did my degree for the next three years and spent far too much time heisting than studying. Taking part in community events, befriending other players, and eagerly awaiting every new update really hit the core of what the Payday experience is about, and I'll always be so fond of this game.

I salute all the creators of PAYDAY 2 this game I've been playing it since 2015 to date 2023 I still enjoy playing it and I can't wait to discover the new PAYDAY 3 game 🤘

Got the game from a friend back in 2019 and got a couple of hours on it since, about 2000.

Growing up during highschool i didn't really have the best of computers. And Payday 2 was the really only game i could run. And the amount of friends and time i played this game with was amazing.

I remember, I randomly had this strange urge to try Payday 2 on my PlayStation 3 one day, which I just happened to have from a PS plus deal a while ago, and I instantly fell in love with the game. I would go on to buy the Crimewave edition sometime later and I would sink countless hours into this game. I would always anticipate new updates on consoles and when they came I would boot up the game and absolutely devour any new content they added, crime spree being one of the fondest as at the time it was one of the funnest ways to grind with its interesting difficulty progression and unique modifiers. Years later I would get my new PC and would buy Payday 2 once again, where I am now still happily heisting, hoping to achieve Infamy 100 before Payday 3's release. Shoutout to Red Archer Live as well for keeping the console hype for all those years. Here's to a better future with Payday 3.

Reset my save file to play with my partner who just got the game around the time we first started dating. We beat the entire story line and even got to the Secret together. Playing this game was a true bonding experience.

I started playing back in 2020, right before Scarface went off sale. Playing with friends, trying to get all achievements and beating everything on DSOD was amazing, even if we failed the heist. In the almost 3 years that I've been playing this game i have managed to rack up 800+ hours of playtime and Payday has quickly become one of my favourite games of all time, and one i will frequently revisit.

I still remember the day when my good friend and I were able to clear Henry's Rock on Death Sentence One Down. Payday 2 has been a game that thoroughly scratched my achievement hunting itch and moments like that, getting the Tabula Rasa achievement or Reputation Beyond Reproach will stick with me even after Payday 2 as a game has not.

One of my fondest memories was the lead up to the release of the Big Bank Heist. One of the first major heist DLCs to be released that really took me back to that Hollywood blockbuster feeling with the introduction of The Dentist and hearing the opera singing for the first time in the trailer and just having the similar cinematic moment in game with the singing happening right at the end of the heist when the bus crashes into the wall and it was a full force attempt to get all the loot to the van.

Started playing PD2 in 2014, and since then, I was still playing despite all the controversies in 2015, the final heists in 2018 and even to this day I still play with friends, public lobbies and sometimes solo for a chill stealth heist.

Thanks to Payday, I've met so many wonderful people that either were new to the game or they already have a bigger infamy number than me. I've also had the great opportunity to work as a translator for the game since the Silk Road update.

Thanks to all the devs, producers, fellow translators, modders, partners and content creators for working on such great game during the 10+ years, and hopefully I can see you all in PD3!

I’ve only ever been a console player and I picked PAYDAY 2 up around early 2016, it has provided me with some great memories and friends alike and the level of difficulty in the game always keeps me coming back as well as the ginormous achievement list always giving something to grind for.

I remember the hype with the Breaking News update and the White House Heist.
We got update after update a clear conclusion of the ARG and see all the community discover the truth behind the White House... Man, what an epic investigation by all the community !

Spending summer days shielded from the heat by heisting with some buddies. Learning how to stealth Shadow Raid with one of those friends, and ending up dorming together and playing whenever we'd have down the between classes.

I think easily my most fond memory was back when the Hotline Miami heist released. My friends and I tried for hours to get the overdose achievement for the Graham mask. For hours we couldn't get the right ingredient spawn only learning after all that time we were on the wrong difficulty. Brought about a good laugh after a small bout of frustration. Been playing since launch and I'm excited for the future!

When I was young, when I was a noob in 2015, I played PAYDAY2 on a laptop run with its battery. The laptop was on low energy mode so fps was almost under 20, everything was lagging. But it still a very great time in my life. Then I started learning from community players, learning their stealth walkthrough, learning their bulids, even learning speedrun. Later in 2018, at the end of the game' storyline, I became a fandom translater for about half a year. Now, 8 years passed and I still love this f-word-ing game!
