Started Payday 2 in 2018, I will never forget when my friend didn't tell me about the parachutes in birth of sky, kinda odd thinking that was a half decade ago

My first time getting intereted in payday franchise was back in 2017 when I saw my cousin play car shop and after a while I finally got a better laptop and started playing payday 2 myself in mid 2019. Now I have almost 2.5k hours and look foward to playing payday 3.

I remember picking up the game on release day for my Xbox 360. Then a long week of playing and convincing my friends to buy it too!

The game I never knew i needed, and I truly did not deserve! <3

I remember playing back on the 360 in 2013, playing Framing Frame with friends, stopping a Guard from calling in the radio by jumping at him and getting arrested. not what i intended but it delayed the call long enough for a friend to deal with it.

Payday 2 was one of my first pc games, and it was (and it is) absolutely wonderful. I still remember all those helmets flying, and the epic heists with our beloved gang. Probably one of the best gaming experience you can have. I'm ready for Payday 3 and don't forget ; Let's do this.

Back in 2013, me and my friends had no money to buy games, so after school all we would do is play the Payday 2 demo on xbox 360 together over and over again, doing the same heist over and over for hours every day. Good times :D

I remember watching payday 2 on YouTube since 2014 because I couldn't afford it, on 2015 by surprise my dad came out of nowhere with the ps3 version of the game, I was crawling on the roof out of the emotion and since then I played payday 2 until now

If you had told me 9 years ago, that'd I'd be sinking nearly 2,000 hours into Payday 2, buying every heist packs, and playing in VR, I would've been like "Who are you?"

When Car Shop first came out and I played the heist for the first time, after grabbing the car keys, I thought the cars would become escape points, and the heist would just end there. Then, I got the prompt to unlock and enter the car. I remember my first reaction after getting inside was, "WHAT YOU CAN DRIVE NOW IN THIS GAME???" Thank you for the thousands of hours of fun in Payday 2, and I'm hugely looking forward to Payday 3! Here's to hoping we get to run over bulldozers, so we can watch their silly ragdolls zoom across the floor sometime eventually in Payday 3 lol

I’ve only ever been a console player and I picked PAYDAY 2 up around early 2016, it has provided me with some great memories and friends alike and the level of difficulty in the game always keeps me coming back as well as the ginormous achievement list always giving something to grind for.

PAYDAY: The Heist was one of the first non-f2p games I played and got instantly hooked to the heisting genre.

When I've heard they were releasing PAYDAY 2 in the summer of 2013 I just immediately had to pre-order it after a long day of high school.

So many friendships being built and genuine moments me and all my friends have experienced over these 10 beautiful years of PAYDAY 2's life. We've seen eachother, the game and the community grow alltogether in these beautiful moments.

May the next 10 years of PAYDAY 3 carry the same heartwarming feelings for us all. 🦊

I've been trying to get all PAYDAY 2 achievements since 2014

I remember cooking meth with the boys in the middle of a school night, those were some of my best memories with the game. This game has always been one of my favourites, and seeing the community grow is very satisfying, especially when it's with a community that you love. From the memes, to the lore, thank you payday

From the demo on the 360 back in 2013, to playing on a crappy laptop in windowed with 600x800 resolution, all the way to today with over 2.5k hours in the game and even giving back to the community with becoming a moderator of the community discord. Payday 2 has been a big part of my life in the best way possible. It's made me laugh, made me cry, gave me something to look forward to in life, and introduced me to some of the most amazing people I have ever met. So, here's to 10 years of payday with hopefully even more to come, keep those helmets flying!

Now here’s what I got to say about the game, so as I’ve stated back in 2013 I got this game for the Xbox 360 not really understanding what I was buying at the time and let tell you the first time I played I didn’t really pay attention to the music at first but then after certain songs appeared during the heist tracks such as “Razormind” or “Wanted Dead or Alive” I knew immediately as a young witchlet that I would adore this games soundtrack for days to come, another thing is that this game had actually a great memory during my transition, in like 2014 of December I was gifted by a good friend of mine the Clover DLC which I believe was the first female heister in the game and it meant a lot to me since it felt like validation in a way and it made me so happy. The last thing I wanted to share was that (I recently found out that I have autism) this game actually kind of helps with my urge to keep doing something and my sensitive senses in a way. For example I always press the F key which is just shouting at cops even when I don’t have too and just the bouncing music in the headphones and plus just always there being something to do Ingame. But yeah this game means allot to me and it’s been a great 10 years of PAYDAY 2!

Man, It's super fun sending Almir himself to custody with a rocket launcher. You won't find that kind of interaction with a developer in another game.

One of my fondest memories was the lead up to the release of the Big Bank Heist. One of the first major heist DLCs to be released that really took me back to that Hollywood blockbuster feeling with the introduction of The Dentist and hearing the opera singing for the first time in the trailer and just having the similar cinematic moment in game with the singing happening right at the end of the heist when the bus crashes into the wall and it was a full force attempt to get all the loot to the van.

I don't have a lot of memories since I've joined just when the Dragon Heist first released back in 2021, but Payday 2 made my life happier in a way. I've found a lot of friends via the game, shared laughs, sorrows, and genuinely had a great time with friends and the game itself.
Payday 2 even gave me a new hobby in a form of modding! I've made a lot of custom weapon skins for the community over the past year until recent, and I'll keep making them until Payday 3 rolls around.

No matter how much Payday 2 disappoints me now, it still has a really special place in my heart.

I'll never forget the time me and my friends I met on payday 2 were all working together getting the keys and suitcase in framing frame to unlock a new grenade launcher. We even all wore president masks in theme with the heist!

I remember when I first played Payday 2 on the Xbox 360. I always had an un-imaginable amount of fun playing a game that was always giving tons of action in each heist, and the idea of a game where you can rob banks after banks was a phenomenal concept that had been executed greatly. I fell in love with this game for the past 9 years since I got it. And once I got my hands on the pc version a couple years ago I was so happy to finally have the ability to play with mods and new features, but most importantly to be a part of events like these. Thank you so much for developing this masterpiece that we The Heisters will cherish till the end of time!

I bought this game after my friends and my brother suggested it to me in 2022. now i have close to 1000 hours and almost done with completing every heist in DSOD ( only need 5 more) i have made countless memories in this game with randoms and my friends alike

I haven't played payday 2 as much as everyone else as of now I only have 272 hours in payday 2 but my payday memory is finding an amazing community of really nice people alongside amazing developers who are passionate about there game and I've even met some of my best friends on payday 2 I'm looking forward for 3 happy anniversary payday 2

It's crazy to think that it's already been ten years. I remember getting into the game around the time we broke Hoxton out. It's even crazier to think that I was among the first 100 to complete the Payday 2 Secret with my friends KebabScout, Fily and Beat.

I've bought PAYDAY 2 back in 2020, and I've spent around 500 hours playing it with my friends. I didn't know what to do when I started the game out, but after some time I've gotten the gist of the game, I've had so much fun trying different builds and guns, and I hope to have more fun and spend more time in PAYDAY 3! Keep those helmets flying!

I remember that struggle when I tried stealthing Election Day. I failed for 3 hours straight, and I told myself I would never play stealth again. Now I completed every stealthable heist on DSOD. God I love this game.

I had my first contact with Payday 2 in 2015 or so, the old Safecracker Edition for the Playstation 3. I spent so much time on those old heists, I still vividly remember getting the right engine first try on Big Oil by piecing out the info around the map, that's when I knew it was love at first sight. I've played for many more years on PS4 and continue to leave my trail on PC to this day. And it never once got old.

I remember booting up the PSN store one day on my PS3 and seeing a gamed called Payday The Heist, and played the shit out of it, i never got payday 2 until 2015 on my Xbox One, ive been playing Payday 2 since on PC

I remember back in August of 2013 I saw my brother playing PAYDAY 2 with his friends, I promptly went and bought the game for my 360. Just before Crimefest of 2014 I had a PC built specifically to play PAYDAY 2 on PC because of the content draught on Console.

I met most of my friends on PAYDAY 2 few I still speak to and play PAYDAY 2 and other games with today. I remember joining a Transport: Downtown around 2016, where the host was testing out a mod which made heisters randomly speak from certain events, such as: the possibility to yell "Stay Down!" when killing a cop.

With countless !!!Access Violations!!! Later, the mod works and we still heist together to this date.

Honorable Mention - I met his friend about a year later on Hoxton's Revenge, It was his first time playing the game. From what I've been told, I complained about the heist being on Hard and not Overkill at the least. I also got told that I was laughing at him for using an Amcar at level 80+. We all laugh about it now though... Or are they laughing at me? ._.

I remember how, i play payday 2 on xbox one,Then in 2020 year i buy Payday 2 on PC and buy Gage Russian Weapon Pack, and i thought that Gage is a Bodhi and i thought that Bodhi is russian.I play payday 2 few hours, then in 2023 year my friend told: who play with me payday 2? And then i started playing payday 2 many hours. Now i have Infamy III and more dlc. And i want to say for payday 2, Happy Birthday with 10 years old.

I came across Payday 2 in 2020 and I knew that it was the perfect heist simulator! I spent dozens of hours playing the game and ultimately had a great time!

Me and my friends in celebration of Payday 3 being announced finally attempted “The Secret”. One of the most satisfying things I’ve done in games.

I remember spending 2 hours in deathwish Cook Off, securing a lot of bags. I don't know if it was really the best decision reflecting on it, but it was fun nonetheless!

I remember seeing this game 10 years ago and was so hyped about it but was unable to buy it. A year later, a friend bought the payday 2 4-pack thinking it was with the dlc and handed me a key. Oh boy, I didn't know what I was going into. I'm still playing this game now and met so many new friends across the world. I remember when I first put my mask, my first bank robbed, the first time I cleared shadow raid dw solo. This game changed my life, and will be tatooed on me.

my greatest memory for sure has to be the secret and everything revolving around it, solving the achievements made me grow close to a few friends, unlocking the trophies to start the secret made me improve (and started my obsession with trohpies). and the final vault at the white house has to be one of the most rewarding things you could ever do in payday besides maybe overdrill.

Finishing the White House heist when it first came out in 2018 to finish up the original storyline, and then finally coming back to it two years later to finish the secret with the help of a friend I met through PAYDAY

I like trolling my friends by throwing the drill out of a third-floor window in Hotline Miami day 2. I discovered that I could do so back in 2015 and it's still just as hysterical as the first time.

I met some of my best friends playing Breakin' Feds stealth in a public game! We strategized and and tried on many attempts for HOURS until we got that perfect run!

First it was seeing some random videos on my YouTube homepage about the game, then the trailer, then playing it myself years later, to the 10 anniversary -

This was back when I first joined the Payday 2 discord in 2020 i was looking for people to play with and I found some we eventually tried no mercy on death sentence knowing we would fail we didnt even make it past the first objective but we got some good laughs thanks to the rocket launcher I hid in my back pocket

The best memories from this game is from heisting with my brother and finding new cool guns.

I started Payday 2 with the beta back in July 2013. Bought the game on launch and couldn't put it down. I did my degree for the next three years and spent far too much time heisting than studying. Taking part in community events, befriending other players, and eagerly awaiting every new update really hit the core of what the Payday experience is about, and I'll always be so fond of this game.

Before I had my own money to buy games with i spent countless hours playing the Payday 2 demo on PS3. Then Payday 2 was the first game I ever bought after getting a laptop.

After almost 2 hours in big oil I accidentally unlocked Dr Miserable. I just couldn't figure out the puzzle lol

I remember back in January of this year, me and my 3 friends were really invested in beating the heist "Breaking Feds". It is renowned for being difficult, and it took us around 66 attempts to beat the heist on MAYHEM difficulty (considering I was new to the game, and my friends had played the game in the past meaning they were a higher level than me). My stealth build back then was horrendous, but after 66 tries we did it. We had some really good laughs that evening. It took us around 2 days to beat the heist, considering the night before we had given up on the 20th or so attempt. It was late when we beat it, but when we beat it felt like the whole world had changed, and we had finally beat the Breaking Feds. To this day, it is still a running joke about how many times we attempted the heist... and the iconic line "Can't believe were coming back to this place.".

This game gave me so many happy moments,but my favourite one was when i beated my first heist in deathwish,i felt so proud,the epic music,the shooting and the danger,also jacket voice Made it 100 times better

PAYDAY2 was one of the first English games and co-op shooters I ever played. It opened up the whole new gaming world to me, and I still come back as PAYDAY2 is my foundation as a gamer.

I started playing back in 2020, right before Scarface went off sale. Playing with friends, trying to get all achievements and beating everything on DSOD was amazing, even if we failed the heist. In the almost 3 years that I've been playing this game i have managed to rack up 800+ hours of playtime and Payday has quickly become one of my favourite games of all time, and one i will frequently revisit.

I remember my brother gifting me PAYDAY: THE HEIST, since them payday has been a small part of my life. Same thing happened with Payday 2, with my brother gifting it to me and I playing it every day and having fun.
Now with the close release of payday 3, a new chapter of this continues and what a surprise when my bro again gave it to me, it's like tradition at this point. Thank you brother and thank you Payday for hours of fun.

I remember coming back from school and playing this game every day with the very same gang I played with during Payday: The Heist. My laptop could barely handle the game at the time! But I still had a blast.

I bought the game in 2016, after looking for new FPS games to play, and I fell in love with the gun customisation, the heists, etc. even though I wasn't good at the game.

Eventually, my friends' decision to stop playing the game in 2021 caused me to lose interest for a while,
until one day in 2022 my aunt asked me to teach her how to play, and since that day I've put almost 800 hours into the game.

I remember all the way back in 2013 I was on my school bus heading to school when in between songs, the two radio hosts began talking about their disgust for this little bank robbing game that was about to release called PAYDAY 2. To be honest, they sold me on the game. Ten years and a thousand hours of playtime later, all I gotta say is thanks for the recommendation Mr. and Mrs. radio hosts.

PayDay 2 had me locked into a whole new era of FPS, a game that featured many different amazing aspects. I remember always messing up Shadow Raid when I was younger, nowadays it's one of my favorite Heists, alongside The Diamond and Meltdown!

I remember getting the game as a gift early around 2013-14 from a close friend hopping into the game with a laggy mouse doing a bank heist, so inexperienced so wide eyed just enjoying playing a new game with my friends. I always hopped on the game when they did, acting as the bag boy in stealth as I was bad at it. As I got better and the friend group started to not play anymore, it was just me as Wolf and my friend who got me the game as Bonnie. I miss playing payday with him.

I started heisting around the time we met the Dentist. Some friends of friends had been playing and it looked like a blast; I couldn't have imagined what it would become! Now my crew are my family, and PAYDAY will always be part of what we made together.

I feel my favourite memory of the game is attempting overdrill when I celebrated achieving infamy 1. The gold was holy yet dallas yelling Ahhhhhh!! I NEED A MEDIC BAG!!!! Still echo in my ears to this day. Oh wait… That was ME?!?!?

When I started playing Payday 2 I thought about one thing, to become rich and cool doing all sorts of builds and destroying crowds of police with all the weapons in games, it was great to play and I will never forget those days when I killed crowds of cops with a shotgun and grenades it was really fun a lot of fun and I don't regret a single second that I spent in the game when payday 3 comes out I will definitely buy it no matter what

I remember my first time doing Overdrill with an open lobby online. The feeling of having to survive the assault while everybody was in custody and completing the heist while only ever going down twice was a clutch and a rush I will never forget!

So many great memories on this great game, doing all the heists on DSOD with my 3 friends was one of the best experiences ever. Exploring builds and doing fun challenges for hours at a time was amazing. Absolutely can't wait for PAYDAY 3!!!

Growing up during highschool i didn't really have the best of computers. And Payday 2 was the really only game i could run. And the amount of friends and time i played this game with was amazing.

Everybody remembers OVERDRILL, that realisation that you'll have to carry 70+ bags of loot but DAMN it was worth every gold bullion you pulled out with your hands

I remember the first time I got this game for xbox 360 turning it on going hours around safehouse for no reason and trying to do jewelry store stealthy

Was playing a solo DW run of no mercy. Got the patient on the last door opened, cracked vials, 750+ kills and 45+ minutes later, I got the achievement.

I remember entering the old safehouse and being completely clueless on what to do... Till I found out I had to put money on the lady with the scale... half a year later though! :D

I remember how I complete FWB in PD:TH with 15fps in my old pc... Good old days

I first saw Payday on YouTube and was immediately interested by the concept. As a result I played the demo on the Xbox 360 but soon upgraded to an Xbox One where I next played in 2015 with the Crimewave Edition. Since then and over a thousand hours later, I've rebought the game on PS5 and am once again racking up game time, eagerly awaiting PayDay 3.

As for a specific memory, I remember me and my mate being unable to complete Car Shop. Now I see it as a quick, easy heist to do if I want to shake things up a bit but back then we used to play for hours, trying to complete that damn heist!

Payday 2 is a videogame of all time. There are many things I can say about it. It's my favourite game ever. I had a lot of memories playing it. My core memory was when I booted up the game and played it with my friends.

I've been an avid payday fan ever since the first game came out for steam, i had so many memories shared from this franchise that I can't quite express with words, when payday 2 first launched that's how i met my long time friend Dieter, we've been through thick and thin but somehow we always come back to play one more heist, back in 2017 i lost a very important family member and the payday community took me with dear hearts and helped me through my grief, now that the game reached 10 years of age i look back at all of the things we've done together and how important it was, video games are not just forms of entertainment but they also help people who are going through really bad times, thats why i want to thank everyone from the dev team all the way to the people who play this game, you guys are awesome and deserving of love! Anyways, I'll see you all at Shade's safehouse 🫂

I played Payday 2 since the beginning, but only with randoms. Randoms who were always nice and ready to teach new things. But it s thanks to Payday 2 i made my best friend. Now it s almost since 8 years i know him and we re still strong together and robbing banks. See you on Payday 3 brother!!

Dying because there's no medic bag

The first time i played it was around 2018 on an xbox 360.
I was pretty alone at home, so this game was a lot of company for me. Thank you for everything!

So many memories over 9 years and 5k hours - between finding ways to tackle every challenge, the various community projects and forming long-lasting friendships.
What I remember the most is the excitement of there always being something to look forward to. Each month or so bringing the next score, some unexpected story development, new toys or obstacles.
I hope Payday 3 can reignite this spark.

One of my fondest memories was during my earliest days as a player. I met a high level stranger who took me through some heists and helped me grind some exp together. I don't remember his username anymore, but he was one of my earliest interactions with the playerbase and I'll always remember him as the person who got me through my first Death Sentence heist.

My greatest memory is when I played Shadow Raid with ALTeRYX007! Although im fairly new to the game I still had a lot of fun and made countless memories that I will remember forever! Thank you PayDay, Thank you Starbreeze!

Doing 25 bags over and over again in cook off even if it took more than an hour it was always fun to share this time with randoms and cracking some jokes in the chat

I played PAYDAY 2 on 4 different platforms. This game followed me during my passage from teenagehood to adulthood, and i am happy PAYDAY got to grew up as well and become 10 years old.

Met a couple good friends when i was first starting the game on shadow raid a couple years ago, shout out to specctr and speedy for getting me through my first shadow raid DSOD and overdrill

I've played this game for 600 hours... and last week was my first time in 4 years of playing solo, that i have played with a full group of friends. I will cherish that memory of us all on bank heist: gold for the rest of my time.

I originally started playing after watching youtube videos but after me and my friend started playing it together we found out it was a great way to make new friends.

I remember the Payday 2 demo on PS3, where you could go up to level 10 maximum, there was only one heist and you could play with other players. It was possible to see players on this demo for a little while after the game's release, and it was great to see this little community!

I've made some great memories and friends along the way because of this awesome franchise. Something about this game was really special to us because we still keep in touch, despite some of them not even playing the game anymore. I'm sure that will change very soon however because ALL of them are very excited about Payday 3. Thank you so much to all the passionate people who have worked on this franchise and always made it their top priority to give the community their PAYDAY.

Truly one of the few games I always come back too, whether to heist for hours or just to remember the good old times, back in 2015 me and my buddy used to go on a trip to branson every year. Wed bring our laptops and use the really crappy wifi to do stealth missions together racking up the paydays! Crimefest weeks were so hype!

I was playing Breakin' Feds with my friend trying to do Stalker and, on our about 100th attempt that night, I put in 2015 hoping that would be the correct code. I was correct, and I have never been happier than when we finally completed the achievement on that run.

PAYDAY 2 has meant so much to me since I started playing in November 2013. Most of my friends list consists of wonderful people I've met in public lobbies, and I still talk to many of them today. I especially remember Crimefest 2014, refreshing the website every few minutes, waiting for the next content reveal and content drop, and dropping in with a group to see what's new. PAYDAY 3 has been my most anticipated game since it was first announced and I'm so excited to create many new memories and meet many new heisters along the way!

My friend bought me PD2 during christmas 2021. Since then played nearly 900 hours and got infamy lvl 50. One of our first heists i can remember was failing the jewerly store on overkill for 30 mins :3

I think my favourite memory of this game is actually fairly recent, My first attempt at crude awakening i thought id try DSOD stealth, Not only did i complete the run but got all additional loot and the correct sample first time. Such an epic heist to top 10 years of an amazing game and community.

I've played ever since 2014 on PS3 till 2016 and changed PS3 for PC version. Payday 2 was, is and most likely will be a greatest PvE game ever created.

I remember first playing the Payday 2 demo on the Xbox 360. I distinctly remember the only heist being bank heist and loving the Commando 553 / Gruber Kurtz weapons. I also remember a glitch in the map where you went under the scaffolding on the roof of the bank and it would clip you into the vault every time. Fun times, it was a memory that stuck with me on my journey from 360, to xbone, to PC and across a steam account loss. I will always mark payday as my favorite game. Timeless, as always.

I remember during the peak of the pandemic when oone of my friends told me to buy PD2, so I bought the game and the next couple of years were filled with joy, meta builds and some funny bugs. Most notably I remember trying to do Scarface od DSOD where we shat ourselves everytime there was a dozer since we were all dodge and didn't have someone with a rocket launcher.

Payday 2 had just come out, console was still getting updates. Cloakers were just brought back from payday 1, and still weren't working right. A Cloaker misses their kick that was aimed at me, then seemingly not knowing what to do from there it just staring beating down nothing.

Got my copy in 2017 when 5 million were being given away for free. Little me, who was struggling to save up money, was shocked at the very idea of getting a game I'd dreamed of buying FOR FREE. Nearly a thousand hours were lost to this game afterwards.

I think easily my most fond memory was back when the Hotline Miami heist released. My friends and I tried for hours to get the overdose achievement for the Graham mask. For hours we couldn't get the right ingredient spawn only learning after all that time we were on the wrong difficulty. Brought about a good laugh after a small bout of frustration. Been playing since launch and I'm excited for the future!

Payday 2 was one of the first games i ever played on PC. I still remember my first Heist i played during a free Weekend and grinding through the demo until i bought the full game.

I've always loved that game since the release. However, i started playing back in 2016 when the Scarface DLC was released. I was a HUGE FAN of the movie. And thanks to OVERKILL. Thank you guys for this game to be so awesome after so 10 years! Love y'all!

Back im the beta of payday 2 me and my friends played it a lot and specifically we played watchdogs alot. It got to the point where we have had a running joke that still continues today of just shouting all the bags whenever anyone suggests leaving loot behind

Payday 2 was a big game with me and my friends since launch. Never will be able to forget set pieces like Big Bank and The White House!

The first time i tried overdrill with my friends, we had did it, we made our way into the overdrill chamber, we only had to put the code and take all the gold, but my friend misclick and the gaz entered, we lost 30 minutes of gameplay, but we laughed a lot afterward !

Mentioning the "meth" recipe to a classmate, realizing we both play PAYDAY 2, connecting and becoming close friends, being excited every day after school to go home and play PAYDAY 2 together, pushing through Death Wish to get the mask, when it was still the hardest challenge in the game.

I freaking miss those days :(

Even though I joined the Payday 2 community way later than some people here (4.6.2020). Im glad I did, along with my friends we had a great time playing throughout every heist in the career mode, from trying to kill Buluc to trying to complete every heist solo on DSOD while I was in a hospital. I couldn't have been happier for those memories. It's really weird that I have been with this game for 3 years and yet I have so much good memories with it.

I only started playing recently around when the Ukrainian prisoner heist released and immediately i was hooked. There's nothing more satisfying than blasting through waves of cops while listening to that awesome soundtrack

I’ve been a longtime fan since the original in 2011. Back then I could only play games with a very underpowered 2010 MacBook. I played a fan-made port to Mac and put countless hours into it. A few years later PAYDAY 2 came out and I actually had a PC this time, so I picked that up for real too.

Been playing it ever since, and I even met my partner and best friends playing it. We’re absolutely stoked and can’t wait for PAYDAY 3!

The amount of suffering i endured playing DSOD Loud is huge! But I'm still loving the game! Would recommend the experience to the whole family!

I've played Payday 2 since 2016 and i loved it. Met some friends playing it and my wallet hated every new dlc. Had to buy, there was no choice. I did 100% in it and i loved most of it. Grinding for robbedacop was a nightmare. The game one of the kind!

My first experience with Payday 2 was in 2014, I was excited because I had money and could afford a game for my PS3, and there it was, PAYDAY 2. Robbing banks and doing it with friends seemed like a great idea. From that moment this game has become one of my favorites, and thanks to it I've got a very nice community both on Twitch and Youtube which I appreciate very much.

Been a payday veteran since the launch of Payday 2, love every minute of it, and played it with many friends over the years, still one of my go to games to stream to this day, thank you for making great gaming memories for me Overkill. I still remember booting up my Xbox360 with my first copy of PAYDAY 2, Seeing the laundry safehouse, going jewelry store heist and thinking that this was the best game I've played in years. 2023 is here and not only EVERYTHING has been improved but I still think that PAYDAY 2 has been the most pleasant and entertaining experience I've had in all my videogame history.

I remember this one time I was doing Overdrill with a crew and volunteered to do the floor tile code once the vault opened. Unfortunately despite following the diagram in the guide I pressed the wrong tile and failed the attempt...
And the second attempt...
So the third time we had someone else do it, and finally succeeded. Pretty funny story but to this day I refuse to do the tile puzzle if it can be helped...

Played the game in 2016-2018 but didn't really get into until 2020-2021 with one of my friends who lived in a whole other country then me and we went for alot of the death sentence one down heists we even got the secret ending for the game with one random guy who was a lot of help to us

Can't remember exactly just when I started playing, had the game on my library for a while but I couldn't ever give it a proper chance, the only thing I know is that the game quickly became my most played game ever. I've put over 700 hours into this game, which isn't a lot on the grand scheme of things yet I am still proud of, and of all those hours my favorite moments were playing with a friend from his start to helping him beat the secret ending, that friend who I got the game for a while back and who is now my boyfriend. Thanks to this amazing game I got to spend hours upon hours with him, and thanks to this game my liking for FPS games started, so suffice to say this game became an integral part of my life and I wouldn't want it any other way.

My best memory was from doing a charity stream during the weekend after release. We raised $11k for charity while enjoying Payday 2 for 36 hours. Also have many great memories of doing silly challenges and celebrating my bday with friends in Payday! Thanks you all (especially Apo, Merky, Nacho) for still being here and hanging out after 10 years! Looking forward to creating more memories in Payday 3!

It took me 5 hours to stealth Framing Frame day 3 on DSOD and it took me 4 months with a break in between to beat White House DSOD. I also remember trying to unlock the Bushido trophy and after failing so many times the one time I completed it, I forgot I had a modifier on and it didn't count the achievement. Still the game is fun and I love it,

I met many friends over the years in this game, followed by many good memories. Too many to pick a favorite. Thanks Overkill for what you've done for the game and here's to hoping Payday 3 will be even more successful

I remember playing the Payday 2 demo on my old XBOX 360 8 years ago. Now I'm playing it on PC and I've met so many amazing and incredible people, some of whom I still talk to, to this day. And I look forward to meet even more people and friends in Payday 3!

My playstyle finally settled into what I really enjoy during the Piggy event. No sweeter feeling than sprinting down the street in VR with a microgun on your arm, mowing down whole squads as you blitz past them.

I remember I used to go all the way around the right side of Diamond Store to get to the camera room.
My very first heist was Art Gallery and almost every time I go infamous and go back to Level 0, I do Art Gallery on Normal in memory of that.

I've been here since 2011, watched the Overdrill get discovered in real time, always logging onto the old Steam Forums every day after coming home to check if there were any new breakthroughs.

All the months of hype in 2013 just before PAYDAY 2 came out were insane back then. Me and my buddies could not stop talking about the game. I still remember my first heist in the pre-order beta - Four Stores on Hard with Full Force Forward blasting through my headphones, synergizing into an orchestra comprised of echoing gunfire and EDM.

It's been a long ten years and PAYDAY 2 has been a major part of them. Hopefully PAYDAY 3 will allow me to feel just as nostalgic in 2033 as I am feeling about PAYDAY 2 and The Heist in 2023. All things considered, this was a good ride.

After modding the game for over half a decade I've really grown to love the engine it's built on. I think it gets a bad wrap, and I'm sad to see it go, but sometimes we have to move forward. Considering how well it's lasted, we should all raise a glass to 22 years of Diesel!

I remember when I played Payday 2 with some friends and we used to get many achievements and complete the different jobs in the game I wish I could go back in time and be with them again with the band

At first, I wore a Fatman mask and spent my early days in Pro Job with the strong style of Eagle Heavy Assault Rifle and Patchett L2A1 SMG, always suffering from ammunition. As time passed, my friends left PAYDAY 2, but I was still left behind in PAYDAY 2. From Bodhi, to Jiro, to Jacket, and then to Hoxton when OVERKILL splendidly handled SWAT. In the meantime, new friends are still being made. Before I knew it, I had a new safehouse and said goodbye to Pro Job. The days of fear of ZEAL continue, but I still remember the pleasure of firing dragon breath bullets while placing the ECM jammer in Crime Spree. But I never forget to shout I NEED MEDIC BAG. I will never forget to shout WANKER. Wolf is still dancing on the dance floor with Get The F**k Out. I always want beginners to take root in this game, continue to play this wonderful game in Japan, and hope to build a community with various people. As Heister, we can keep the helmet flying.

I remember my first ever attempts at loud heists, being carried by higher level players, barely scraping enough cash to buy a minigun. And now I've done the secret end and got a full collection of every weapon noob me ever wanted.

First started playing Payday in 2017 when they gave away 5 million copies for free. Loved it so much that i played this game with 13fps for 600 hours on my old pc now i have almost 900 hours. Looking back the friends i made just because of payday are one of the best friendships i ever had, for a game thats about shooting cops the community are the sweetest. Looking forward to pd3 hope we get to see its 10th year too

I remember the release of "The Bomb Heists" - DLC pack. On release, me and my buddy had multiple attempts stealthing "Bomb - Dockyard" on the highest difficulty (was Death Wish back then) until we finally finished it without leaving a trace. What an exciting moment.

I still remember when I first downloaded the demo back in 2013... found a couple of heisters while matchmaking who are still my friends, 10 years on... Surreal to think that PAYDAY 2 has been with me from the 6th grade all the way to my senior year in university... so many memories...

When I was young, when I was a noob in 2015, I played PAYDAY2 on a laptop run with its battery. The laptop was on low energy mode so fps was almost under 20, everything was lagging. But it still a very great time in my life. Then I started learning from community players, learning their stealth walkthrough, learning their bulids, even learning speedrun. Later in 2018, at the end of the game' storyline, I became a fandom translater for about half a year. Now, 8 years passed and I still love this f-word-ing game!

My favorite moment in Payday 2 for me has to be doing white house stealth with a friend. After at least 8 tries we finally reached the end, and all we had to do was grab the pardon documents, but me being the way that i am smashed the glass, instantly sounding the alarm. We still made it out but I never got to live that down. Here's to another 10 years of heisting!!!

I grew up with payday 2, reaching 1000 hours on console. 2 years ago I changed over to PC, payday was the first thing I downloaded! Within the 1100 hours I have on steam today, I reached the ultimate achievement of the DSOD mask. Little me would've been so proud. :')

I remember telling my parents that this was a cool game where you play as a "good guy Robin Hood" type of figure, because I was afraid they wouldn't let me play it otherwise.

A decade later, that little lie has resulted in life changing friendships and thousands of hours of fantastic memories in and out of the game. Thank you PAYDAY!

I remember running through Hotline Miami when it first came out to get all the achievements first, didn't succeed but it was still fun. Here's hoping for more fun heists, colab or not! (Preferably another Hotline Miami one though :))

I remember playing Jewelery Store on the Xbox 360 version with a friend when the 360 and PS3 were the only console versions. It wasn't until the summer of 2021 where I really got into the game. I still remember going through Undercover with some friends and being nervous about not messing up. Now I look back at my other achievements like completing OVERDRILL and The Secret solo or mastering Murky Station or the hours I put in on Cook Off alone for Infamy grinding.

I remember when for april fools one year, this bouncy explosives got activated. I have a friend Who used to main Golden AK and RPG and Went crazy during days because of this until we told him. That moments with him and the rest of the Crew (we met in-game 8 years ago and still play) where Amazing. This and million more. I hope to get new memories with this people on the new one too. They are basically family to me now. I am 26 years old now (the youngest in the group) and they have been with me during all kinds of moments and even got some tears when I moved continents. Thanks for letting me have this awesome interactions with people I would definitelly not know now.

I remember it like today. The year 2017, we had som sort of a picnic at school and suddenly I go on steam and see that payday 2 is for free. Elated, I started telling everyone to pick up the game. To this day I still remember being thrown right into Car Dealership on DSOD with zero experience. It was an amazing experience.

I remember being gifted this game back in 2016 and only sinking 40 minutes in to it. But one day in August of 2020 I wanted find a new game to become my main game and realised I had PAYDAY 2 sitting in my Steam Library and from there, the rest is history.

Obviously I'm not the earliest heister in this game.
I joined the game in 2018,and I still remember the astonishing secret lore things--
A heisting game with bunch of mythology and occultism mixed into its lore? Hell yeah!

favorite memory was actually a very recent one, me and the team worked hard to get 'beneath the mountain' done (at least opening the 4 vaults) in under ten minutes. whole call was shouting when we clutched it with <10 seconds remaining

The multi-hour quest to complete Birth of Sky in DSOD. We ended up needing to pull in a fourth just so we had more bodies to throw at it. Was one of the last ones we needed to get all of them done, and the success was a serious rush.

I think my first encounter with Payday was the infamous "Giant Toothbrush" video from back in the day and seeing how the devs went back and made it even bigger hahaha!
I'd just bought a gaming pc a few months before payday 2 was released so it was the first game I ever pre-ordered on steam and I must say it was worth it, from harvest and trustee's to the white house, helmets have flown and will continue to in Payday 3

Being scared shitless at the sight of a cloaker for the first time. A generally horrifying experience because of its looks and noise. Looks like I am going to be even more terrified in Payday 3.

Got the game from a friend back in 2019 and got a couple of hours on it since, about 2000.

I got the game in 2021 so i didn't have much time with it. Even tho its been only 2-3 years for me, its was a blast. This is one of the best games i played in my life, thank you OVERKILL

I was still pretty new to the game, playing the Street Escape at night (for what heist I can't remember) with a newly maxed out Sociopath deck, not even knowing about skills, trying to use as few bullets as possible. In between assault waves me and a crew of randos were moving the bags to the escape vehicle when a cloaker randomly spawned in a dark alleyway, lit by a single light post, crawling out of a sewer grate. I completely forgot I was on Mayhem and ran up to him, killed him with a couple blows from the MotherForker, with Jacket saying "I really enjoyed that" as I left the alleyway and went on my way. It was the perfect movie moment, and it'll always stick in my mind as one of my favorite kills I've ever gotten in Payday 2.

Started playing since 2014, I was pretty much a kid, but I was having a blast all the way through.
As of now, me and a couple of friends are trying the Secret Ending, it's been fun and will always be.

I remember exactly when I started: December 3rd, 2013. Two days before Gage Weapon Pack #1 released. Played the demo version of the game late November. The game was tough as nails, when leveling was slow and the money economy in shambles. But it was great.

I practically grew up alongside this game, through my teenage years to adulthood. I've seen the highs and lows. The very deep lows. But I never gave up on the game. It was truly something special.

And now... 10 years later? It's still great and special, but just more... spongy. And an actual slaughterhouse. It's comical.

I wish to go back in time, when it was more simple. And less convoluted. But the passage of time cannot be stopped. Or reversed.

Thank you, Overkill Starbreeze. It's been a bumpy road, but a damn fine road it is. Hopefully it will be less so for the future. Don't mess it up, would ya?

I’ve met a lot of nice people on there which I didn’t have in a lot of games. I’ve played so many hours in the bank heist in the demo. Now continuing playing on the full realise been a blast ever since!

Too many to count; But the time I got the legendary weapon skin 'City of Gold' accepted to the game was pretty good- even better after there was a whole event named after it, casino yacht heist included.

As quite a few of us, I first started playing because of Badger. His videos introduced me to this game, and I've been hooked ever since. Now, over 3 years and almost 1.000 hours spent in-game later, I'm still playing the game. Part of that is of course the fun gameplay. But the thing that really keep me tied to this game is the community. Yeah, you. My best memories are those playing with randoms for hours, only to maybe never see them again. The conversations we had in the lobby, the loot we scored mid-heist. All will stick with me. You know, we might not be the best community out there - that one goes to Deep Rock Galactic - but we're damn happy being number two. As SBZ says, keep those helmets flying friends. Cya all in Payday 3 <3.

I started playing PD2 in the beta and haven't stopped. But the best part of the game for me is the crew of close friends I've gained through it. We all still talk almost daily and have been for most of the past decade with full intentions of continuing with Payday 3

I played Payday 2 in 2022 because of RussianBadger's videos, little did I know I would be in for the life of heisting. I've never experienced such an great game (with it's minor cons, but still pros) with endless upgrades to your loudouts, weapons, masks and clothes. All and all, Payday 2 is a great game I hold close to my heart, this was a fantastic experience, and I thank you OVERKILL and everyone else that worked on this game for Payday 2.

During the launch of payday 2 I was sad to see no Cloaker back then I didn’t have access to the internet so I didn’t know when updates were coming out and one day on four stores I’m in the China store and next minute I hear the iconic sound we are used to now I looked behind me and there he was sprinting full force at me I would say I was amazed and happy to see him back but to be honest I was scared out of my mind and scream and what made it better is the line he said was “you wanted me back I’m back” this moment has stayed with me for many years

Nightclub, around 2016. Loud and in Overkill difficulty. Right now it sounds lame, but I'll never forget the satisfaction of carrying all the loot to the van, somehow surviving on my last down while the rest of the crew was in custody.

I remember, I randomly had this strange urge to try Payday 2 on my PlayStation 3 one day, which I just happened to have from a PS plus deal a while ago, and I instantly fell in love with the game. I would go on to buy the Crimewave edition sometime later and I would sink countless hours into this game. I would always anticipate new updates on consoles and when they came I would boot up the game and absolutely devour any new content they added, crime spree being one of the fondest as at the time it was one of the funnest ways to grind with its interesting difficulty progression and unique modifiers. Years later I would get my new PC and would buy Payday 2 once again, where I am now still happily heisting, hoping to achieve Infamy 100 before Payday 3's release. Shoutout to Red Archer Live as well for keeping the console hype for all those years. Here's to a better future with Payday 3.

I’ll never forget believing in John Wick at a time when only payday fans were aware of him, which he was hated by at the time. The film proved me right and I’ll always associate the two franchises.

My favorite memory in PAYDAY was learning how to do the H&T Bank from my older brother while I was a kid.

Doing The first world bank on death wish back in early 2016 over and over again never succeeding.

This isn’t much of a payday 2 memory but more of how I got introduced to the franchise. Around Christmas 2012, my mother went to our local GameStop and asked the cashier a good first person shooter game that would be a good Christmas gift and the employee recommended Payday: The Heist. That employee is the real one and he put me on to the best video game of all time and I’m forever grateful to have been here for even longer than this anniversary! Payday 3 here we come with more memories to be had!

I remember very vividly one time I was playing Framing Frame and... I met a group that I just got along with so well, coming up with our own codenames as we swindled away the gold from the Senator... It felt so good and solidified PAYDAY 2 as one of my favourite games of all time.

I remember preordering the Career Criminal Edition and being excited for the game after PDTH, talking about it with my buddies at school. Doing it all over again but this time at a comfortable office job.
2014 was probably the best year for the game and the community. I hope we get more 2014s in the future.
