PAYDAY 2 crashing in Card drop or elsewhere? Quit and restart Steam and try playing again.

Hey everyone,

Some of you have issues with issues connected to Card drops. The game crashes and you are unable to continue.

The solution is simple – Quit and restart Steam and it will force the Steam client to refresh the game content.

The reason this is an issue is because servers updated the game at different times which mean that Steam just needs to sync the data so it has the latest.

You will need to quit and restart Steam for this to work. Simply quitting PAYDAY 2 will not work.

Please note: if you have the wrong version of the game, the game data will be corrupt and it will reset. You will then lose all your progress.

Please make sure to log out of Steam and log in again so you download all the latest files and sync the game properly.
