Can’t join your friends games? Quit and restart Steam – your game needs to sync to Steam.

Hey everyone,

We’re monitoring the forums and working hard making sure we help you as best as we can.

If the game isn’t working, the first thing you and everyone you play with is to make sure that you have restarted Steam.

Please note: This might corrupt your save data because you had an old version. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this will cause you.

Proceed like this:

1) Start the game
2) Exit the game
3) Quit Steam
4) Start Steam

A restart after having a crash is NOT sufficient. You will need to start the game without it crashing in order to do this properly.

Steam might take some time to sync so this might be an issue for some today. Hopefully, it will go away ASAP.
